Plan With Me December 2017

Hey Junkies!

Happy Hump Day! I am so flippin excited! Today, my first Plan With Me video since February came out! I am so pumped to be relaunching my YouTbe channel, no matter how rusty I am. I am going to be bringing you weekly videos, from now on, so make sure you are subscribed to my channel so you don’t miss out.

You can view today’s video here.

But, let’s get into the setup for this month.

First up this month is my December Cover Page. I used all black throughout this month’s layout which is a little different for me. There are a lot of poinsettias and holly leaves and berries. That will be the floral theme throughout my setup.

This month added a little visual calendar up top. I googled “cute font” and found an image I liked. The small text this month is loosely based on that. Since I decided to go with list formats for my monthly spread in November, and I was pretty sure I would do the same in December, I wanted a visual close by. Plus, with the bottom of the page so design heavy, I thought the top could use something.

I really like how this turned out, I keep going back and adding to my flowers, so that is also fun.

Next we have my monthly layout. I did decide to go with the list format. The right side of the page is feeling a little bare to me, so I am thinking of adding a quote. If you have one you like, leave it in the comments below. I am going to choose one, and add it to the page.

I added a birthday and some holidays to the end of the month, at the time this picture was taken. I will still go in and add my appointments also.

Then we have my sad and empty Gratitude spread. It seems so bare at the beginning of the month, but at the end of the month it is always full of life and color, so I am happy to start filling it in.

Following Gratitude is another new spread for me. I have loved my Mood and Moon Phase trackers so much, but in the spirit of change for the last month this year, I went with a new tracker and drew out presents. I put ribbons down the middle of each so I could track my AM mood on the left and my PM mood on the right, each day. I thought this was such a fun little idea, and I am really enjoying it so far.

I haven’t decided yet if I will just fill in the presents or make it look like decorative paper. We will have to see what mood hits me on the first.

For the second month, now, I have my trackers combined into one spread. These are my habits (up top), self care (middle) and intentions (bottom) for the month of December.

Totally our little secret…. You may notice that the trackers are uneven… That’s because my crazy self messed up drawing out my top box, and somehow end up two boxes short! LOL … I was super bummed for like 30 seconds, and then I powered through at the bottom… The real struggle was deciding which habits I wanted to pass off as intentions this coming month…. Don’t tell anyone.. K?

Last, but not least, is my One Line A Day spread… It is stretching two pages this month because I was feeling a little cramped with it just being on one. This gives me a little more room to breathe. I will probably be omitting this in the new year, because i have a One Line A Day, 5 year book, and I want to start putting my thoughts each day into it. This spread would be a little redundant then, so we will see if I decide to keep it.

That is it for my monthly setup. I move directly into my weekly spread for the coming week, followed by my daily pages after that.

This week was pretty simple. I popped some of my flower tracker stickers in there, and a owl sticker, used my gelatos on the edges of the page, then made a couple little doodles, and was done. I put off setting up the week until late Sunday evening, so I needed to do something quickly. I still really like how it looks.

Well, there you have it… That is my full setup for the month of December. I am really excited about my YouTube Channel in case you cannot tell about me mentioning it again.. Lol.

Until next time, Happy Journaling!
